Live Music for 2011!...

Festival organisers are delighted to announce that 2011 will see the introduction of Live Music on the Saturday evening. We are delighted to confirm that Maddy Stuckey will be performing at The Alnwick Beer Festival on the Saturday of the beer festival, so make sure you don't miss out on a wonderfull night, and come along and enjoy the evening!

Alnwick Town Reserves say 'Cheers' to The Alnwick Beer Festival...

Alnwick Town reserves have toasted the Alnwick Beer Festival and said a big ‘Cheers’ to the events organisers, Alnwick & District Round Table for providing a donation that has allowed the team to buy new training tops. Alnwick Beer Festival Director Iain Stewart presented the Reserves team manager Ray Smith with the new tops before their 9-1 victory over Lynemouth on Saturday 19th March.

Alnwick Town Reserves manager Ray Smith said ‘We are delighted to have received the donation from Alnwick Round Table. Times are tough at the moment and sponsorship has become increasingly difficult to find so we are extremely grateful for this donation.’

Alnwick Beer Festival Director Iain Stewart added ‘The Beer Festival has grown into a very popular event in Alnwick. It is supported by local people and the funds it raises are then given back to the local community. We are delighted to make the donation to the Alnwick Town Reserves, they are a great bunch of lads and we would like to wish them well for the rest of the season’.

Venue And Date Confirmed...

Once again the Alnwick Beer Festival is running in conjunction with the fabulous Alnwick Food Festival and both events are confirmed as being on 24-25th September this year. We are delighted to announce that the Freemen of Alnwick have again kindly given us permission hold our Festival in the ideal venue of The Town Hall, overlooking the busy Food Festival in the Market Place.
